Abstract

Hrvatska je zemlja izrazito bogate bioraznolikosti, ona se očituje i u našoj flori. Planina Biokovo je stanište preko 1400
biljnih vrsta, od kojih su mnoge ljekovite, što je između ostalog bio razlog proglašenja planine parkom prirode 1981. godine.
U ovom diplomskom radu je s botaničkog, etnobotaničkog, fitokemijskog i terapijskog aspekta obrađeno dvadeset biljnih
vrsta prikupljenih tijekom istraživačkog terenskog rada na Biokovu u lipnju 2016. godine. Za svaku biljnu vrstu pronađeni su
literaturni podatci o morfološkim karakteristikama, pretraženi su dostupni podatci o nalazištima i staništima tih vrsta na Biokovu.
Nadalje, pregledani su i zapisani etnobotanički podatci koje navodi prof. Tartalja ( 1981) te su specifični za Biokovo, dok je dio
podataka pronađen u znanstvenim etnobotaničkim istraživanjima balkanskog i mediteranskog područja ili je nadopunjen podatcima iz farmakognoške građe. lJ poglavljima koja se odnose na kemijski sastav, ljekovite komponente i primjenu u farmaceutskoj praksi sažima se današnja upotreba opisanih biljaka, odnosno njihovih droga, ukoliko su one dio moderne farmaceutske prakse te novija saznanja o djelovanju kemijskih tvari podrijetlom iz biljaka. lJ zaključku povučena je paralela s kemizmom sličnih vrsta, te sagledana primjena iz perspektive fitoterapije temeljene na dokazima. Posebno mjesto u ovom diplomskom radu zaslužile su dvije naše endemske vrste Pinus nigra subsp. da/matica i Tanacetum cinerariifolium. Ostale vrste su karakteristični pripadnici vegetacije područja koje je danas naseljeno te ljekovite vrste važne u tradiciji.

Abstract (english)

Biodiversity is one of the many Croatian natural treasures, it expresses its true colors in Croatian flora.
Biokovo mountain is a habitat of more than 1400 plant species, many of which can be regarded as
medicinal, which is one of the reasons why this mountain has been declared as Nature Park in 1981.
This master's thesis includes botanical, ethnobotanical, phytochemical and therapeutical standpoint on 20
species that were collected on field work in the June of 2016. Every species is morphologically descibed
together with the data on their occurance and habitat on mountain Biokovo. Primary source of
ethnobotanical data was the article authored by H. Tartalja (1981) since it specifically discuses mountain
Biokovo. Remaining ethnobotanical data was aquired from ethnobotanical studies conceming Mediterrain
area and Balkan region, together with pharmacognostic literature in Croatian language. Present day and
potential usage is described through the lenses of phytotherapy based on evidence. Chemical composition
and medicina! properties along with most recent discoveries are discussed. Plants that are not used in
modem day pharmacy are compared to their relatives with scientifically proveo medicina! properties. Two
of the species, Pinus nigra subsp. da/matica and Tanacetum cinerariifolium are endemic to Dalmatian
adriatic coast. Remaining described species are either characteristic specimen of urban vegetation or posses
great importance in tradition.
