Abstract

Ovo etnobotaničko istraživanje provedeno je na području Slavonskog Broda i nekoliko okolnih sela
(Oriovac, Slavonski Kobaš, Brodski Stupnik, Staro Topolje) te na području Gunje, a u istraživanju je sudjelovalo
12 osoba, životne dobi u rasponu od 45 i 85 godina. Kriterij odabira je bio da je njihovo znanje o korištenju
ljekovitog bilja stečeno isključivo usmenom predajom. Ispitanici su ukupno naveli 31 biljnu vrstu koju koriste u
liječenju, opisali su način izrade pripravka te njenu primjenu. Najčešće korištene biljne vrste, odnosno one koje
je naveo najveći broj ispitanika su stolisnik, kamilica, kadulja, čuvarkuća, glog i kupus. Najzastupljeniji
pripravak koji se primjenjuje je čaj (infuz ili dekokt), a najčešće indikacije su želučane i srčane tegobe, različite
upale i otekline. Usporedbom primjene u narodu i znanstvenih spoznaja moguće je zaključiti kako je primjena
većine biljnih vrsta u svrhu koju su naveli ispitanici znanstveno opravdana te se koriste i danas u suvremenoj
fitofarmaciji.

Abstract (english)

This ethnobotanical research was conducted in the area of Slavonski Brod and several surrounding villages
(Oriovac, Slavonski Kobaš, Brodski Stupnik, Staro Topolje) and in the area of Gunja, the research included 12 respondents
age range from 45 to 85 years. Selection criterion was that their knowledge on the use of medicine plants is solely aquired by oral tradition. Respondents listed total of 31 plant species that are used in the treatment, also described a method of preparing a preparations and its use. The most commonly used plant species or the ones provided by the largest number of respondents are yarrow, chamomile, sage, common houseleek, howthorn and cabbage. The most common preparation applied is tea (infusion and decoction) and the most common indications are stomach and heart ailments, various inflammation and swelling. Comparing application in the traditional use and scientific knowledge it is possible to conclude that the application of the majority of plant species for the purpose stated by respondents is scientifically justifield and are used today in modern phytopharmacy.
