Abstract (english)

Analysis was made of the manuscript containing' folk recipes collection
(»ljekaruša«) which has been written by franciscan Dragutin Grančić in mid
of 19th century. The collection contains 108 recipes for human medical practice
and 12 recipes for veterinary medical practice. Three recipes contain advices
for household. Materia medica of the manuscript is composed of drugs
having plant, animal and mineral origin. Diseases called by folk names and
frequently mentioned as symptoms, ways of preparing remedies, and names
of medicinal herbs used are discussed.
