Abstract

Ovim istraživanjem prikupljeni su podaci o tradicionalnom liječenju biljem na novljanskom području anketirajući 8 osoba, starijih od 55 godina koji koriste biljke u svrhu liječenja blažih zdravstvenih problema. Ispitanici su svoje znanje o ljekovitosti određenih biljnih vrsta stekli narodnom predajom. Naveli su 21 biljnu vrstu te za svaku opisali načine pripreme i primjenu. Najčešće korištene biljne vrste su stolisnik, kadulja i neven. Od pripravaka najčešće se izrađuju čajevi u obliku infuza i masti. Biljne vrste se najčešće koriste za liječenje blažih problema dišnog i probavnog sustava te kože. Suvremene znanstvene spoznaje idu u prilog narodnoj primjeni pojedine biljne vrste u liječenju.

Abstract (english)

This ethnobotanical research included eight participants from the area of Novska, who are older than 55 years and use various herbs for curing mild health problems. The participants got their knowledge about salubrity of herbs through folk tradition. They gave a data of 21 herbal species, description of preparation and dosage. The most commonly used herbs are yarrow, sage and marigold. The most commonly used formulation is tea, mostly as an infusion, as well as ointments. Herbal species are usually used for mild health problems of the respiratory, digestive systems and skin. The traditional use of mentioned herbal species is justified according to the results of scientific research.
